Background

I grew up in a small farm house in mid-Michigan, with my parents, brother, and a "few" animals. Our town was lucky enough to be referred to as one of the largest  cow farms in the country, exciting right? I spent most of my free time there playing sports, hanging out with friends and ultimately getting into mischief.  It was here, I became inspired by moments, moments that made me want to freeze time. This led me into the life of photography, a gateway for me to keep a piece of my favorite moments with me, forever. 

As fate would have it, I was gifted my first DSLR camera in high school, which would eventually carve my path in life. This camera opened my eyes to new details I never knew existed. It opened a new world of photography for me and inspired me to become better. I began photographing, annoyingly I might add, my friends and family every chance I got. Every moment I wanted, was mine to keep. 

Life, as it tends to do, threw me in different directions after high school. I wanted to become a dentist, a teacher, and even at some points, a traveler. But my heart drew me back to photography my senior year. I began photographing families, sports teams, and weddings.

Since then I have happily never looked back. 

Today

Though I now find myself closer to the city, my heart still yearns for the silence of star-filled nights and adventures in the yard with my dog. Those instances are what continue to ignite my passion for photography. They keep me motivated and help me to create the pure, candid images I strive for every day. In all, this is what has led me to dedicating my days capturing your greatest memories.

When I am not taking photos, you will most likely find me spoiling my dog, spending quality time with family and friends, or finding an adventure outdoors.
